The Warriors take 5th out of 48 teams.

The road to the Gold Bracket at the Capitol Hill Classic is long.  Two days of competitive pool play determine which teams get into the medal rounds and which teams will play for consolation.  The Metro 13 North Warriors knew what they needed to do to make it to the Gold Bracket on Monday and they did it as all great athletes do- one step at a time.

The Warriors entered the tournament seeded 6th out of 48 teams in their division.  They went undefeated on the first day of pool play finishing 3-0 and solidifying their chance for a medal.  On day two, they went 2-1 in a tough pool finishing second on the net and guaranteeing them a spot in the Gold Bracket on Monday.

They fought their way to the Quarterfinals, where they lost a hard-fought match 2-1 to the top seed, Beach Elite, who wound up winning the entire tournament.  This left them tied for a fifth place finish overall.
