Jennifer Carr is starting her third year coaching with Metro Volleyball.  Jennifer started playing volleyball as a freshman at Walkersville High School.  In college, she played as a right-side hitter her first two years at American International College and then transferred to Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD.  Co-captain of the 1998 Salisbury University volleyball team, she led the team to the university's Capital Athletic Conference championship and its first berth to NCAA playoffs.  She earned conference player of the year and AVCA All-Region Team for the Mid-Atlantic in 1998.  Prior to her graduation, she went on to serve as assistant coach of the 1999 Salisbury volleyball team.  After college, she was head coach for a 18's club team and assistant coach at Frederick Community College.  Jennifer has continued playing USAV adult volleyball in the CHRVA region since college.

 

As part of the 2020 season 18s North coaching staff, Jerry and her led their team to the first national bid for the Metro North Region.   

 

Jennifer has a BS from Salisbury University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Hood College.  She currently lives in Walkersville, Maryland, with her husband, Martin, their two children, Ella and Jackson, and their family pet dog, Posie.
