Mandy Blumenauer is returning for her 6th club season with Metro as the assistant Coach to 17N.  She has 14 years of coaching/assisting volleyball experience at the public high school & club level.  During the 2018-19 season the 17 North team finished in the top 20 CHRVA teams w/ 3 Gold or Silver tournament finishes, Finished 3rd at Regionals(Gold Bracket), and finished 5th at Capital Hill and South Atlantic Championships.

Mandy continues to play through USAV Adult Women's Program, and other recreational leagues as a rightside and a setter; previous competing at Nationals three times including trips to Phoenix, AZ (2011) & Louisville, KY (2013) and Orlando, FL (2016)/2016 Regional Champions. 

Aside from volleyball, Mandy is a CIDQ Interior Designer and USGBC LEED AP w/ a B.S. in Interior Design from Philadelphia University.  She is currently a Director at DBI Architects in Reston, VA, where she has been employed as an Interior Designer since 2007. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her dog, art, photography, and traveling.
