“I am so excited to be returning to the Metro coaching staff! I loved my time as a Metro North coach and I can't wait to pass my volleyball knowledge and love for the game to the East region. Let’s go Metro!!”

This will be Christiana’s second year coaching for Metro. Christiana began playing volleyball at the age of 10 and has loved it ever since! She grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and played volleyball throughout all of middle school and high school. Christiana played for Metro Central and North from 14’s -18’s. She played for her varsity high school team and assisted them in winning their conference championship her senior year. She then went on to play as the starting setter for the Montgomery College Raptors and lead her team in service aces and assists. Christiana has played various positions throughout her volleyball career, spanning from D.S. to setter and even middle for a season!

Christiana began her coaching career in the 2017-18 season as the Assistant Coach for Metro 12 North. Her favorite part of coaching has been seeing not only the player's skills but also their confidence develop throughout the season.

Christiana is currently a senior at the University of Maryland where she is studying Environmental Science and Policy. She hopes to use her major to pursue a career in Environmental Education and Conservation.
