Annie comes to Metro with a total of 9 years of coaching experience at the club and college level.

Annie started playing volleyball in 9th grade to fill the fall season with a sport and quickly fell in love with the game. She played for Metro 17 and 18 North. She also played high school volleyball at Governor Thomas Johnson HS in Frederick, MD. In her senior season, in 2008, the team finished as runners up in the state championship match.

Annie went on to play Division III Volleyball at McDaniel College as an OH/OPP, where she was named to the All Conference team in her senior year.

Prior to Metro, Annie was an Assistant Coach at McDaniel College, Clarkson University and Millikin University, and Head Coach at Stevens Institute of Technology. As a college coach she won 5 conference tournament championships, won 2 NCAA regional championships, made 2 NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances and 2 NCAA Elite Eight appearances. She was also recognized with 7 Coaching Staff of the Year awards and as an AVCA 30 Under 30 recipient. She has coached numerous AVCA All Americans and is excited to bring her knowledge of college volleyball to the club level.

Annie graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from McDaniel College in 2013 and her MBA from Clarkson University in 2016. She currently lives in Frederick MD with her husband, Steve, and her dog, Pal. Annie is a Senior Recruiter for Protiviti, a Global Consulting Firm.
