Laura Reynolds - 16 South Assistant Coach - 2021

Metro VBC Laura Reynolds - 16 South Assistant Coach - 2021
"I love coaching at Metro because of the feeling of family and the way we always push each other to be our best. I can't wait to see what new challenges and competition this season will bring!"

Laura has been playing volleyball for over ten years.  She attended Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia from 2007-2011, where she played three years of varsity volleyball as a defensive specialist and Libero for the Knights. She earned Honorable Mention as a senior and helped lead the Knights to a WCAC final and a state semi-final in 2011. In her club career, she spent a season with Franconia Volleyball Club as an eighth grader, two seasons with Metro American playing for 15 & 16 South, before going on to play for Evolution Volleyball Club as a junior. As a senior, she took time off from playing and coached for NVVA with her father, Ed Reynolds. She spent four years coaching Metro 15s and 16s, before taking a two-year break to work and travel in Europe. She is very excited to be back with the Metro family and return to coaching.

Laura graduated from Bridgewater College in December of 2014, where she spent four years as the official scorekeeper of the Bridgewater volleyball team. She also played two years of Division III lacrosse for the Eagles. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a concentration in clinical psychology.
