James McPaul is entering his first year as a coach with metro volleyball club. Originally from the Jersey shore, James moved to the DMV in September.

James began playing volleyball as a sophomore in high school for Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey and Warren Sixpack. He also participated in GAV beach events during the summertime.

While attending Loyola University Maryland, James majored in Finance and played for the men’s club team. He also completed a semester abroad in Ireland, playing for the University College Cork’s volleyball team. James now resides in the Federal Hill neighborhood of Baltimore.
