Assistant Coach 2018

Stephanie Shultis - 15 South Assistant Coach - 2018

Metro VBC Stephanie Shultis - 15 South Assistant Coach - 2018
"I am excited to return for another great year with Metro Volleyball Club. Metro's passion and commitment to the mastery of fundamental volleyball techniques have provided our athletes the opportunity to reach the next level of competition on the USAV stage. It is an honor to be part of such a comprehensive volleyball club and I cannot wait to get started with the 2017-18 season!"

Teppi got started in competitive volleyball while playing for Metro Volleyball Club's 15s, 16s, 17s, and 18s travel teams as a right side hitter and middle blocker.  Teppi then went on to be the starting setter for Howard University four straight years, earning MEAC conference honors two years in a row and leading the Bison to the conference finals her senior season.  Teppi graduated from Howard as the Bisons' leader in all setting categories, as well as being the first Bison volleyball athlete ever to play in every set of every match in her collegiate career.

Beginning in 2016, Teppi returned to Metro as the South 14U assistant coach, specializing in developing setters and middle blockers.  In a very short while, her teams have amassed an outstanding record of tournament wins, and have to be considered tough contenders in every event.  Teppi graduated from Howard University with a degree in nutrition, and she includes that knowledge and skill set into the training regimens for her athletes.  She is a certified coach and member of USA Volleyball, and has attended USAV's IMPACT training, as well as Gold Medal Squared coaching clinics.
