Metro VBC Megan McQuillen - 12 North Head Coach - 2018
"Metro has opened my eyes to a whole new level of volleyball. The respect and support among the coaches and staff is phenomenal. Most importantly is the love for the game and the desire to instill that love in our players. I'm looking forward to another successful season both on and off the court!"

This will be Megan's fourth year with Metro and first year as a head coach for the club. She began playing volleyball at a very young age. Playing high school volleyball for a small private school in Hagerstown Maryland, her team excelled by remaining in the top four from freshman to senior year. Her senior year she led the team in digs and blocks. The team went undefeated taking first place in their conference. They also placed first in the Maryland state tournament, and third at the national tournament in Dayton, Tennessee.

Megan begin playing college volleyball at Frostburg university and then chose the next year to begin coaching after realizing that was truly her passion. She has enjoyed five successful seasons as a head coach and enjoyed the past three years with Metro assisting the 12U players. Her favorite part of coaching younger players is watching them grow in skill, knowledge, and the love for the game of volleyball.

When not coaching Megan is very involved at church, enjoys playing with her young son Ben and daughter Mollie, as well as working part time as an emergency room nurse.
