“I am very excited to join the Metro family.  It is an honor to be a part of this amazing coaching staff and to have the opportunity to work with a group of talented, young athletes. I can’t wait to see the success and growth that this season will bring!”

This will be Kristen’s first year coaching at Metro. She grew up and was raised in Phoenix, Arizona and has been playing volleyball since the age of 12.  She graduated from Xavier College Preparatory, where she played on the varsity team which won state championships in indoor and beach. She played and coached for Club One Volleyball Club, in Tempe, Arizona. As a captain and starting libero, she helped her team win two regional championships and qualify for nationals.

Kristen went on to play at American University and is currently in her sophomore year, studying business. In 2016, she helped the Eagles to win a Patriot League Championship and advance to the NCAA tournament as libero. She currently leads the team in digs, was named to the Patriot League Honor Roll and was selected to the All-Tournament team for the 2016 Patriot League Championship.
