“‘I’m looking forward to returning to Metro for another season in 2018, as we look to build on the success of the past few years working with talented groups of young athletes”.  

Ethan returns to Metro for his third season after serving as an assistant coach in 2016 for 14/13 Central and in 2015 as volunteer with the 17's Travel team. A graduate of American University, Jenkins was a member of the volleyball staff under head coach Barry Goldberg, serving as team manager. During his time with American, the team qualified multiple times for the NCAA tournament, including reaching the second round in 2015 with a victory over #24 Kentucky. With American, Jenkins managed the statistical analysis duties for the team; in charge of running DataVolley software and assisting with opponent scouting. Ethan also played multiple seasons on the American University men's club volleyball team. Jenkins resides in Northwest D.C and in his spare time is the public address announcer and occasional television play-by-play commentator for American volleyball.
