Kristie Fourcade will be the 18’s assistant coach this year.  Kristie has previously been the 15 North assistant and Head Coach.  Kristie comes from many years of coaching experience, including former assistant coach at Frederick Community College, club level coaching for both FAVOR and Metro, as well as the JV and Head Varsity Coach at Saint John’s Catholic Prep.  While coaching at SJCP she built a winning program,  advancing the program up a division in the IAAM league.  

 Kristie has played club volleyball since the age of 10.  She traveled  twice, through CHRVA, with her winning MVSA teams to Junior Nationals in Dallas, Texas and Salt Lake City, Utah. She also played for WACO.  In high school, as team captain, she led the St. John’s Prospect Hall team to the IAAM Division championship, was named a Conference all star for three years and and was named to the Frederick News Post All Star First Team.    Kristie also played softball for four years as a pitcher, first base and utility player and was co- team captain in that Championship winning program.   She competed at McDaniel College as a starting setter from 2004-2009, holding several school records in both setting and service aces.  Kristie currently enjoys playing USAV Chesapeake Region Women’s Volleyball, and has traveled to Nationals iin Orlando, FL in 2016. 

Kristie graduated from McDaniel College in 2009 with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science/Physical Education with a double minor in sport coaching/management and athletic training.  She also graduated from McDaniel in 2012 with her Master’s Degree in Education and is currently a middle school Physical Education and Health teacher with Montgomery County Public Schools.
