Originally from New Jersey, Kelly McCaddin started playing volleyball her freshman year in high school. She played for her high school James Caldwell and at the club level for Allegro and TCA. Having a successful high school team, including 3 county and conference and 2 state championships, Kelly was named one of eight All-State Players in her final season.
Kelly arrived in the DC area in August 2011 to play for American University under coach Barry Goldberg. Three out of Kelly’s four years included conference championships and NCAA tournament berths. Her Junior season was AU’s most successful year ever, with Kelly reaching career highs in almost every category and gaining All-League recognition.
After leading her team in blocking and hitting categories her Senior season, Kelly graduated in May 2015 with a B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Marketing. In August 2015, Kelly went out to Pamplona, Navarre, Spain to compete for GH Leadernet Navarcable’s team C.D. Iruña
Kelly returned to the area in June 2016 and works as a Project Assistant in Downtown DC.
