Mia Fruge' enters her first year at Metro Volleyball Club as the Head Coach of 16 Regional. She recently moved to Annapolis, MD from San Antonio, TX to begin coaching with the United States Naval Academy.

Fruge' arrives at Navy having served as an assistant coach (vol.) at Trinity (Texas) for the past two seasons. The squad posted an overall record of 54-13 during her two years, which was highlighted by the Tigers advancing to the Sweet 16 in the 2014 NCAA (Division III) Tournament. She also was the head high school volleyball coach in 2015 at Great Hearts Monte Vista in San Antonio, Texas.

A native of Crowley, La., Fruge' graduated from Loyola University of New Orleans in 2014, competing on the school's volleyball team during each of her first three seasons. She would graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Management) from the school and is currently working toward a Master of Science in Sport Management from Texas A&M.
