Laura has been playing volleyball for almost ten years.  She attended Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia from 2007-2011, where she played three years of varsity volleyball as a defensive specialist and Libero for the Knights. She earned Honorable Mention as a senior and helped lead the Knights to a WCAC final and a state semi-final in 2011. She has four years of club experience, including two years at Metro South at the 15s & 16s level. As a senior, she split time playing and coaching for NVVA with her father, Ed Reynolds.

Laura graduated from Bridgewater College in December 2014, where she spent four years as the official scorekeeper of the Bridgewater volleyball team. She also played two years of Division III lacrosse for the Eagles. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology, with a concentration in clinical psychology. Laura currently works at Source Office Suites in Arlington.
