Ed Reynolds is in his 11th year of coaching girls’ volleyball, previously coaching with NVVA, Metro American, Franconia VBC, the Fairfax Police Youth Club, and Bishop O’Connell High School.  He is currently the Freshman Coach at Mount Vernon High School.  A native of Southern California, he played volleyball on numerous college, military, recreational, and intramural teams for over 30 years.  Ed graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, served in Germany, and settled in Northern Virginia in 1989.  He is an analyst with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency at Ft. Belvoir.  He has completed USAV IMPACT, CAP I, and CAP II, and worked as a Virginia High School League volleyball referee for three seasons.

Ed has been married to Rita for 30 years and has four children.  In his limited spare time, he likes to read, sing with the West Point Alumni Glee Club, follow Angels baseball and Ducks hockey, and visit historical sites.
