Madison Greer is joining Metro VBC for her first season coaching. Madison recently relocated to the area from just outside Charlotte, North Carolina where she played 3 years of Varsity Volleyball for North Mecklenburg Senior High School, serving as team captain her senior year. She earned All-Conference Honors her junior and senior year as an outside hitter. She has played volleyball for nearly ten years, for the area’s leading clubs Carolina Juniors Volleyball and Carolina Union Volleyball Club. She went on to play varsity volleyball for one year at Wake Forest University where she transitioned into a role as defensive specialist, then spent the remainder of her time at Wake serving as President of the Club Volleyball team at Wake, leading her team to a third place finish at Nationals in Reno, Nevada. She graduated from Wake Forest University in December of 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Biology and is working at the National Cancer Institute at Fort Detrick. She plans to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor, hoping to begin Medical School in the Fall of 2017.
