Claudia Lapcevich is entering her 9th year with Metro American Volleyball Club, having coached the 16s, 15s, 13s and 10s age groups in the North region. Coach Laps was the Head Varsity Volleyball coach at Urbana High School in Frederick County from 2005-2011 (MD State Semifinalists, 2009) and Assistant Varsity Volleyball coach at The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD) for the past 3 years.  Claudia is an alumni of Virginia Tech, where she played club volleyball all 4 years, and still competes in USA Volleyball in the women's division, as well as local rec programs. She is proud to be a 3-Dimensional coach trained by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), coaching FCA Power Camps in Montgomery and Frederick County, MD.  When she is not coaching volleyball, Claudia is a Senior Sales Specialist with Thermo Fisher Scientific, an avid triathlete and cook, married to Randy and a proud mother of two: Stefan (sophomore at Catholic University of America) and Cassie (AHC, class of 2015)!
