Mandy Blumenauer - 16 North Assistant Coach - 2017
Mandy Blumenauer is returning for her 3rd club season with Metro, previously coaching the 16/15's North Region team. She started playing volleyball at Middletown High, where she helped win the schools first County Volleyball Championship, and still holds school records for volleyball & basketball, as well as a State title for Track & Field in 2001. She played club volleyball for FAVOR from 2000-02. After graduation, she continued to assist the Middletown program with summer training programs. In 2006, she joined the Brunswick High School's coaching staff as a JV Head Coach and assistant Varsity coach, and continues to assist the program today.
Mandy has played USAV volleyball since 2006 and currently plays for Mully's Galaxy out of Elkridge, MD as a right side/setter. She has attended Nationals three times including trips to Phoenix, AZ (2011) & Louisville, KY (2013) and Orlando, FL (2016).
Aside from volleyball, Mandy has a B.S. in Interior Design from Philadelphia University and is currently a Senior Project Manager at DBI Architects in Reston, VA, where she has been employed since 2007. In her spare time, she enjoys art, photography, skiing and scuba diving.
