Ethan is excited to start his first season as a Metro assistant coach after spending last year as a volunteer with the Metro 17’s travel team.  A native of Reading, Pennsylvania, Jenkins has been a part of the American University Volleyball program for the past three seasons; spending the last two as a team manager.  During his time with American, the team qualified for the NCAA tournament twice, including a victory over #24 Kentucky in the 2015 NCAA tournament.  With American, he has managed the data analysis duties for the team; in charge of running the DataVolley software and assisting with opponent scouting.  Further, he has served as the lead volleyball play-by-play broadcaster for AU volleyball on the Patriot League Network.  A current senior at the American University School of International Service, Jenkins is also a member of the American men’s club volleyball team.
