Originally from Bowie, Maryland, Taylor played high school volleyball at Elizabeth Seton High School. She played for both Metro American Volleyball Club and Virginia Elite, and chose to continue her career at Virginia Wesleyan College. She has coached at the high school and collegiate levels, and was the assistant coach for the 17 Black team at Beach Elite Voleyball Club for the past two seasons. Taylor is returning for her second season with Metro as an assistant coach.
