 Ahen Kim returns as our 17 Travel Head Coach after a 68-16 record and a 5th place finish at USAV Nationals. Coach Kim is also in his fifth year as an assistant coach at Division I American University, after helping lead the Eagles to their 13th conference championship. During his tenure, AU recorded their first NCAA Tournament wins in program history by advancing to the Sweet 16 in 2013, and to the Second Round in 2015. Three of his athletes have continued onto professional careers upon graduating from AU.

 Coach Kim was also an assistant coach at Houston Baptist University where he focused on the development of the defensive specialists and outside hitters. He helped the team to a 22-win season and a third place finish in the Great West Conference championships in 2011. Kim also served as the assistant coach at George Washington University during the 2010 season and Catholic University in 2009.

 A 2007 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College,  Coach Kim was an outside hitter for the F&M Men’s Volleyball team. Coach Kim is also involved with FCA and fluent in Korean.
