Justin Wong joins the Hoyas in his first year as an assistant coach at Georgetown University.  His main responsibilities include opponent scouting, video analysis as well as assisting with recruiting and daily operations.  

Before coming to the Hilltop, Justin spent the past two seasons as the only assistant at Delaware State University where he assisted in many aspects of the program including player development, recruiting and budget management while his main duties were opponent scouting, video analysis and travel logistics.  His efforts helped players earn five All-Tournament Team Awards as well as three MEAC Weekly Honors.

Prior to Delaware State University, Justin spent 2012 at Ohio University as their Volunteer Assistant where he helped in player development, opponent scouting, practice planning and other administrative duties.  While there, the Bobcats achieved a final record of 21-10, led the conference in 6 out of 7 statistical categories, which culminated in its 9th MAC Championship.

In 2009, Justin got his first collegiate experience as a graduate student at Miami University (Ohio) where he earned a MS in Sport Behavior & Performance and the RedHawks finished 3rd in both years at the MAC Conference Tournament.  While there, he assisted in practice planning as well as video analysis and opponent scouting using GameBreaker and Data Volley.

Outside of his collegiate coaching experience, he coached one of the top 15 Open teams at Dallas Skyline Juniors in 2012 and most recently at Mintonette Sports in Columbus, OH.  While at Mintonette, he helped coach the 17's team to a 2nd place finish at USA Jr Nationals and a #40 ranking by PrepVolleyball.com among the top 17s National teams in the country.

Justin graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Sports & Leisure Studies while playing on the OSU Men’s Club Volleyball.
